Lake Wales Medical Center is a community-based healthcare provider serving Central Florida since 1930. This service-oriented hospital was the first facility in the county to offer digital mammography. Located in the center of the Florida peninsula Lake Wales has the highest elevation in the peninsular area, and therefore offers plenty of sun without the humidity of coastal communities.
