• Assisting the nursing staff in providing care to clients in a residential treatment environment
• Under the supervision of a registered nurse, taking client vital signs including temperature, pulse, respiration rate, blood pressure, and blood sugar levels; documenting readings as appropriate
• Monitoring clients  self-administration of medication and observing medical reactions; reporting changes or concerns to nursing staff
• Conducting periodic dorm checks, client and property searches to ensure safety and well-being
• Performing tasks such as storing supplies, changing biohazard bags, answering telephones, photocopying, scanning and filing documents

• Current certification as a Certified Nursing Assistant
• Minimum 6 months related work experience as a nursing or medical assistant
• Current CPR certification
• Experience with adults/adolescents in a residential treatment center is a plus

• Normal or corrected vision to read thermometers, BP gauges, and related materials; ability to assess symptoms and injuries
• Ability to stoop, bend, reach, and move about for up to two hours at a time
• Good communication abilities to gather and exchange information with clients and staff
• Ability to respond to telephone, pages and intercoms; hear speech
• Ability to use a keyboard and monitor to receive and input information
• Ability to lift up to 20 pounds to assist clients

• Range begins at $16.93 - $23.16 per hour (based on experience and credentials)
• Shift differential on top of the hourly rate
