Guest Advocate (Cashier), General Merchandise, Fulfillment, Food and Beverage, Style (T1331)  Starting Hourly Rate / Salario por Hora Inicial is $19.75 USD per hour. The Pay Range / Rango salarial is $19.75 USD - $29.65 USD per hour.

ALL ABOUT ON DEMAND:
You can work as much or as little as you like as an On-Demand Team Member (TM) and your schedule may vary depending on shift availability and store needs. This role is ideal for those that are looking for a personalized work schedule. As an On-Demand TM, you will not be included on the posted weekly schedule, but you will have the opportunity to create your own schedule by picking up shifts posted by leaders or other team members (via our myTime mobile scheduling app).

When you choose to pick up a shift, reliable and prompt attendance is necessary. You must respond to our attempts to contact you to confirm interest in shifts  you do not respond, employment may be terminated. If you do not work at least one shift within 5 months, your employment may be administratively terminated. Communication and ability to work when our business demands it are critical to success in this role.

Should you be offered a position as an On-Demand TM, you will be required to attend a Target Welcome orientation and commit to a short-term structured training schedule. After that, the myTime app is where you can pick up shifts.

Advocates of guest experience who welcome, thank, and exceed guest service expectations by focusing on guest interaction, loyalty enrollment and store cleanliness. Advocates of both in-store and digital services and solutions who are knowledgeable about capabilities and features that drive adoption, usage and loyalty. Empowered to make shopping quick and easy for guests at the checklanes, guest services, gift registry, pick-up and drive up while ensuring exceptional quality.

The Good News is that we have training to help you learn the role. Core skills include: communicating effectively, remaining composed in a fast-paced environment, a welcoming attitude, attention to detail, willingness to educate guests, and ability to use multiple devices and scanners. You should be able to work independently or with a team.

• Demonstrate a service culture by delivering the service standard and creating a welcoming guest experience.
• Engage with guests to help solve their needs and be knowledgeable about store tools, products, and services.
• Assist with checkout, loyalty programs, and provide guidance on fulfillment services (Order Pick Up, Drive Up, Registry).
• Maintain a clean, safe work area and stock supplies during store hours while remaining available for guests.
• Support guest services such as order pickup and drive-up orders, while complying with safety policies and relevant laws.
• Assist with cash office processes as needed and handle cash operations accurately.
• All other duties based on business needs.

• You enjoy interacting with guests and team members; you thrive in a fast-paced, active role with teamwork and problem solving.
• You are open to a flexible schedule (nights, weekends, holidays, peak times).
• Strong communication, positive language, and attentiveness to guest needs.
• Ability to multi-task, stay focused, and use handheld scanners and other technology.
• Willingness to learn about products and services and to educate guests as needed.
