Guest Advocate (Cashier or Front of Store Attendant/Cart Attendant) (T1331)

Starting hourly rate is $19.75 USD per hour. Pay range is $19.75 USD - $29.65 USD per hour.

You will be knowledgeable about store capabilities and solutions that drive adoption, usage, and guest loyalty, and you will assist guests with checklanes, guest services, gift registry, pick-up, and drive up while ensuring quality.

• Demonstrate a service culture that prioritizes the guest experience by delivering the service standard.
• Greet guests as you complete daily tasks and engage with guests to help solve their specific needs.
• Inform guests about current promos, store activities, and events.
• Be knowledgeable about tools, products, and services available in the store and in your area to resolve issues and improve guest experience.
• Thank guests and acknowledge their choice to shop at Target.
• Explain benefits of Target Loyalty programs and assist with sign-up as needed.
• Scan and bag items efficiently, accurately, and in compliance with food safety standards and company practices.
• Work efficiently to minimize guest wait time while maintaining service quality and accuracy.
• Explain and demonstrate features of the Target App and Wallet; assist with Order Pick-Up, Drive Up, and online ordering, including enrollment and usage guidance.
• Handle returns following policy and coordinate with leaders as needed to resolve guest needs.
• Maintain a clean, clutter-free work area and stock supplies during store hours while remaining available to guests.
• Contribute to a culture of safety and compliance; follow safety policies and report hazards.
• Support guest services such as order pick up, Drive-Up orders, and returns, while complying with applicable laws (e.g., beverage laws) and company procedures.
• All other duties as needed based on business needs.

• Ability to work independently and in a team; stay focused and complete tasks within time frames.
• Flexibility to work evenings, weekends, and holidays; reliable attendance.
• Ability to move and handle merchandise safely, including lifting up to 10 pounds frequently and up to 44 pounds occasionally.
• Ability to work in varying temperatures and environments (e.g., Drive-Up, carryout).
