Overview

The starting hourly rate is $19.75 USD per hour. The pay range is $19.75 USD – $29.65 USD per hour.

Target is a place where team members help families discover the joy of everyday life. This role is with General Merchandise and Food Sales, supporting store processes, inventory, pricing, and guest service to enable a consistent guest experience.

• Create a welcoming experience by greeting guests while completing daily tasks.
• Assist guests and help solve their specific needs in a helpful and friendly manner.
• Thank guests and acknowledge their visit.
• Execute daily tasks to support business priorities, including receiving products, restocking shelves, organizing the backroom, arranging merchandise, and putting up promotional signs for GM areas.
• Operate power equipment to move merchandise or store fixtures if certified.
• Execute processes such as price changes, merchandise setup and maintenance, and inventory accuracy as directed.
• Learn how operational procedures affect inventory management, store profitability, and product availability.
• Be knowledgeable about store resources, products, and services to solve issues and improve guest experience.
• Demonstrate ethical conduct, safety, and compliance; work safely and report hazards.
• Support guest services such as back-up cashier and digital fulfillment processes (picking/packing orders or delivering pickup orders) while maintaining compliance with applicable laws.
• Perform other duties based on business needs.

• Accurately handle cash register operations as needed.
• Climb ladders as required.
• Scan, handle, and move merchandise safely, including lifting up to 44 pounds without assistance.
• Flexible work schedule (nights, weekends, holidays) and reliable attendance.
• Work in varying temperatures and environments while performing duties (e.g., Drive-Up, carryout).
• Ability to remain mobile for the duration of a shift.
