Sherwood Community Services is seeking a compassionate and skilled Physical Therapist to join our collaborative multidisciplinary team. In this role, you will provide developmental therapy services to infants and toddlers (birth to three) and their families, using a parent-coaching model in natural environments such as the family home, virtual settings, and community locations.

Key Responsibilities
  • Conduct discipline-specific assessments and complete written evaluation summaries for ESIT eligibility, progress reviews, and annual evaluations.
  • Deliver high-quality therapy sessions (50–55 minutes) using both direct treatment and parent coaching.
  • Collaborate with families, caregivers, interdisciplinary team members, and external providers to support IFSP priorities and developmental outcomes.
  • Maintain accurate schedules and caseload documentation using Outlook and agency systems; demonstrate basic computer competency.
  • Ensure compliance with best practices and standards.
  • Participate actively in team and agency meetings.

Requirements Education & Credentials
  • Professional certification and discipline-specific Washington State licensure required.
Experience
  • Pediatric therapy experiences preferred.
Skills & Abilities
  • Commitment to family-centered services and supporting young children with developmental delays in their communities.
  • Ability to collaborate effectively within a multidisciplinary team.
  • Valid Washington State driver's license and proof of auto insurance.
  • Ability to pass a criminal background check.
Physical & Work Requirements
  • Ability to work comfortably in homes, childcare centers, and office settings, including navigating stairs, uneven terrain, and varied home environments.
  • Must be able to lift children/equipment up to 25 pounds and engage in activities such as floor work, kneeling, and reaching.
  • Drive up to 75 minutes between visits and work in inclement weather as needed.
