Sales, Color and Curl Concierge

Join Cosmo Prof Beauty as our Color & Curl Concierge in Lake Oswego, OR. You will be the expert guiding customers, salons, and professionals to the best color and curl solutions while driving sales and brand awareness.

Primary Responsibilities
  • Determine customer color and care needs, provide professional advice and product recommendations.
  • Offer color & curl/texture consulting services to professional beauty salons, barbers, spas, schools, and licensed cosmetologists.
  • Maximize sales by driving customer retention, building lasting relationships, and expanding brand awareness.
  • Use market analysis to educate customers on approved beauty products and introduce new concepts, both in-store and virtually.
  • Maintain high standards of color and curl merchandising, store signage, and proper display techniques.
  • Communicate sales progress, orders, and status to leadership and cross‑functional teams.
  • Ensure timely resolution of customer concerns and questions.
  • Perform store opening and closing procedures, handle cash transactions, and execute occasional bank deposits.
  • Adhere to Cosmo Prof/BSG Culture Values and company code of ethics and behavior.
Qualifications & Experience
  • One year of retail or sales‑focused experience.
  • Highly preferred:
    Licensed cosmetologist (US or Canada).
  • Reliable transportation and willingness to travel to shows and sales meetings (minimum 3 times a year).
  • Strong business acumen; ability to interpret sales reports.
  • Knowledge of retail sales, inventory control systems, and visual merchandising.
  • Proficiency with POS applications, computers, iPads, mobile devices, and social media platforms.
  • Strong written and verbal communication skills.
  • Ability to present a professional image and interact positively with the public.
  • Pass Color Certification Test within 60 days of hire to remain in position.
  • Committed to scheduled hours with flexibility for additional hours based on business needs.
  • May be required to work in other stores or in the field at times.
