Job DescriptionThe Assistant Retail Manager will be responsible for assisting the Retail Manager in managing the day-to-day operations of the retail store. This includes but is not limited to:
- Assisting in the hiring, training, and supervision of retail staff
- Ensuring that the store is properly stocked and merchandised
- Assisting in the development and implementation of sales strategies to increase revenue
- Providing excellent customer service to ensure customer satisfaction and loyalty
- Assisting in the management of inventory and ordering of products
- Ensuring that the store is clean, organized, and well‑maintained
- Assisting in the preparation of sales reports and other administrative tasks
- High school diploma or equivalent
- Previous retail experience, preferably in a management role
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
- Strong organizational and time management skills
- Ability to work flexible hours, including weekends and holidays
- Ability to lift and carry up to 50 pounds
- Bachelor's degree in business or related field
- Experience with inventory management and ordering
- Experience with sales reporting and analysis
- Experience with visual merchandising
