A Retail Cashier Floater is a versatile role designed for individuals who provide coverage across multiple store locations within a region. Your work location may vary daily as you fill in for staff on leave, vacation, or open positions. As a floater, you'll have the chance to meet new people, learn new techniques, and gain valuable experience while building your reputation.

• Hourly Rate: $20.50

• Greet every customer with a smile, thank them for their business, and invite them back.
• Provide fast and friendly service and accurate product information to build customer awareness.
• Ring up sales and merchandise, offer applicable discounts/promotions while following all laws and policies regarding restricted sales of tobacco and alcohol.
• Prepare cashier checkout reports accurately and according to policy.
• Maintain cleanliness inside and outside the store.
• Properly label, rotate, and stock shelves, coolers, and displays.
• Be safety/security conscious while adhering to the guidelines in the Safety Manual; report any accidents or incidents to the Store Manager immediately.
• Follow company policy and procedures.
• When applicable, fuel customers’ cars, check engine fluids, and wash windows as needed (required in Oregon and on request for handicapped customers).
• Ensure proper sanitation and food handling/prep/storage/disposal procedures are followed.
• Book Floaters only – reconcile daily paperwork when covering shifts and complete daily deposits.
• Perform additional duties as assigned.

• Must be 21 or older for this location (or meet the legal age requirement for restricted product sales such as alcohol and tobacco).
• Can work flexible shifts to support a 24/7 operation, including rotating shifts, nights, holidays, and weekends.
• Bring a willingness and passion for delivering exceptional customer service.
• Have excellent communication skills with a friendly, can‑do attitude.
• Bring previous retail or cashier experience.
• Possess experience of leading by example and doing the right thing, always.
• Have a strong sense of teamwork.

• Frequent standing, walking, bending, twisting, reaching, climbing, stooping, kneeling, crouching; talk and listen.
• Lift and/or move up to 20 pounds frequently and up to 65 pounds occasionally.
• Work safely in conditions that include heat, cold, allergens, noise, and fumes/chemicals/odors from gasoline and cleaning chemicals.
