The Business Office Manager assists the Executive Director in assuring that all operational guidelines, standards of the company, and the quality assurance goals are met.

Responsibilities
  • Deliver exceptional customer service to residents, families, staff and vendors by cultivating quality relationships
  • Fulfill Human Resource/Payroll responsibilities at the community level - payroll, offboarding, training & employee morale
  • Provide financial and system support to Executive Director and staff through accounting systems, cash management, budget review and invoice approvals
  • Directly supervise the 24hr Concierge and Reception teams
  • Assures a stable staff of optimal quantity and quality, by recruiting, hiring, scheduling, supervising, evaluating, counseling, and, if necessary, terminating employees
Qualifications
  • 3-5 years’ experience in Senior Living or Office Manager role
  • Ability to effectively present information and respond to questions from groups of managers, residents, employees, and the general public
  • Ability to write reports, business correspondence, and procedure manuals
  • AL & MC regulations knowledge
  • Manage and process Long-Term Care insurance billing, claims, and required documentation, ensuring accuracy and timely submission
  • Ability to prioritize, organize, and delegate assignments
  • Ability to interpret a variety of instructions furnished in written, oral, electronic, or schedule form
  • Ability to solve practical problems and deal with a variety of concrete variables in situations where only limited standardization exists
