Blower Truck Crew Member

Blower truck crew members assist the truck driver with residential and commercial landscape to effectively install material (including bark, soil, and rock) while on the job sites. The blower truck crew member also helps set up job sites and assists in the clean-up of sites after the material has been placed.

• Assist the truck driver with installation of material (including bark, soil, and rock) in the appropriate job site locations by adjusting and guiding the blower truck hoses
• Clean up site using backpack blower
• Set up edgers on site to keep products separated and to protect existing plants.
• Perform routine maintenance on truck and keep equipment clean

• Follow all OSHA regulations that pertain to job
• Report any work hazards to your lead, supervisor, or manager immediately
• Use personal protective equipment (PPE) as needed for the activities that will be assigned to you.
• Participate in all safety protocols and procedures training that are relevant to your position.
• Report and document all work related job injuries and accidents on Rexius provided form.
• Attend and participate in annual safety training.

• High school diploma or equivalent

• Valid Oregon Driver's License

• May be required to lift up to 50 lbs.
• Hand-eye coordination and hand, arm, and finger mobility for detailed work with objects.
• Active movement throughout the day: sitting, walking, standing, squatting, bending, stooping, reaching, etc. (not a sedentary position).
• Vision: close vision, color vision, peripheral vision, depth perception, and ability to adjust focus.
• Hearing: able to satisfactorily communicate with customers, owners, and other staff members to ensure that verbal communication is clearly understood, particularly during emergency situations.
• Finger dexterity is needed to access, enter, and retrieve data using a computer keyboard or operate equipment.
• Ability to work in outdoor environments and perform physical tasks.
