Compensation: $68,000 - $98,000. Based on our office location. (Geographic salary differentials apply for candidates in other regions).

PositionCAD DESIGNER I/II
Basic Job Function
The CAD Designer/Operator is a key member of the engineering team, with responsibility for product designs and various projects in the public sector. They will collaborate with a team of civil engineers and project managers to provide outstanding engineering designs and construction documents.
Essential Duties and Accountabilities- Develop 2D and 3D designs, drawings, plans, exhibits, and maps using AutoCAD Civil 3D and Revit under the guidance of the engineering team and project manager.
- Complete construction drawings for water and wastewater projects involving underground and above-ground utilities including pipelines; plan and profiles; pumping and booster stations; water and wastewater treatment plant civil and process mechanical features; and electrical, instrumentation, and control systems; land development, roadways, and storm water projects.
- Make calculations as necessary.
- Update, revise, and scale designs as necessary according to client feedback. Work with other internal teams to get designs approved and executed.
- Develop specialized knowledge surrounding water management systems (sewers, storm drains, flood control, and more).
- Certification from a college or technical school or an Associate degree in CAD Design
- 4-8+ year(s) of experience in CAD design for the A/E/C industry
- Proficient with AutoCAD, Civil 3D, and/or Revit
- Basic knowledge of MS Office including Word and Excel
- Basic knowledge of Bluebeam Revu
- Proven ability to manage multiple priorities and deadlines
- Must effectively communicate with all project team members
- Ability to work independently with little supervision and guidance from manager
- Demonstrates the ability to efficiently complete redlines with minimal need for repeated corrections
