Commercial Superintendent

Reputable OR General Contractor seeks a Commercial Superintendent

$125,000 - $175,000 per year (Base Pay Range)

Based in Portland, we are a growing commercial general contractor that has been in business for over 3 decades. Our current need is for a talented Project Manager who will work on multiple projects simultaneously while keeping everything safe and on budget.

• Analyze project plans and specifications to determine project scope, timelines, and budget requirements.
• Work closely with project managers, engineers, and architects to ensure accurate estimates.
• Review and analyze subcontractor and vendor quotes to ensure competitive pricing.
• Develop and maintain relationships with clients, architects, and subcontractors.
• Attend pre‑bid meetings and site visits to gather information and assess project requirements.
• Prepare and submit bids to clients in a timely and professional manner.
• Provide guidance and support to junior estimators and team members.

• 3+ years of experience as a Construction Estimator.
• Bachelor's degree in Construction Management, Engineering, or related field.
• Strong knowledge of construction materials, methods, and industry standards.
• Experience with commercial, civil, and industrial construction projects.
• Ability to read and interpret project plans and specifications.
• Strong analytical and problem‑solving skills.
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
• Proficient in Microsoft Office and construction estimating software.
• Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
• Attention to detail and accuracy are essential.
