Associate Accountant

Job Duties /Responsibilities:- Conduct regular general ledger maintenance, including reviewing and making journal entries
- Conduct regular account reconciliations to ensure accurate reporting
- Prepare accurate, timely close of monthly financial statements in accordance with GAAP
- Perform monthly reconciliations between Accounting Software and Leasing Software
- Assist with accounting projects
- Identify opportunities for process improvement and automation
- Bachelor’s degree in accounting or finance or equivalent work experience
- Highly detail-oriented and organized
- Ability to meet a constant stream of deadlines
- Proven ability to work both independently and collaboratively
- Superior analytical and problem-solving skills
- Ability to master various software used for financial analysis
- Ability to work effectively and accurately in a fast paced, high production, professional environment
- General knowledge of Lease/Loan accounting
- Familiarity with accounting software and programs including Sage Intacct, Aspire, (Preferred)
The pay range for this role is: 50,000 - 55,000 USD per year (United States)
