• Provide superior customer service and look for ways to exceed customer expectations.
• Answer product‐related questions and offer additional or alternative products and services.
• Process customer transactions of goods and services, including cash, check, or charge payments, and make change for cash transactions.
• Use the electronic scanner to record prices, weigh items, bag merchandise, and redeem food stamps and promotional coupons.
• Monitor and manage potential front‑end shrink.
• Perform Customer Service Assistant duties frequently.

• Demonstrate the ability to lift 35 lbs and manage in excess of 35 lbs.
• Successfully complete Checker training and Alcohol Seller's training.*

• Constantly: 5.5+ hours per 8‑hour day;
Frequently (2.5‑5.5 hours per 8‑hour day);
Occasionally (0‑2.5 hours per 8‑hour day).
• Partners are responsible for not lifting beyond their safe lifting limit. If an item is too heavy, break it into smaller components or ask for assistance.
