Work Schedule:
Advanced Practitioner (NP) within an outpatient care setting at BLSMG Lake Jackson location. Support the healthcare system with the management of specified populations through independent and collaborative clinical management.
Job PurposeProvides advanced nursing care to patients in a clinical setting in an area of specialization under the direction of a physician.
Job Duties- Synthesizes and critically analyzes data to identify needs, formulate diagnosis, and establish a treatment plan for a patient, family, and/or population.
- Implements individualized, evidence‑based interventions based on assessment, treatment plan, and identified priorities to maximize health potential and/or expected goals of a patient, family, and/or population.
- Evaluates progress toward expected goals of a patient, family, and/or population in a systematic and ongoing manner, modifying the plan as appropriate.
- Serves as a clinical expert to the interdisciplinary team.
- Incorporates and disseminates research findings and evidence‑based practice into treatment plans, protocols, and guidelines.
- Education:
Master’s degree in Nursing. - Experience:
None required. - Certification/Licenses/Registration:
Current license as a Registered Nurse (RN) by the State of Texas Board of Nursing, Current Texas Licensure as an Advanced Practice Nurse (APRN‑NP), and specialty certification as required by department. Basic Life Support (BLS) Certification. - Minimum Experience:
Two‑Five (2–5) years of medical experience. - Minimum Knowledge, Skills, and Abilities:
- Work independently with minimal supervision.
- Effective communication skills.
- Able to facilitate change.
