The Food & Beverage Manager supports the Food & Beverage Director in overseeing daily food and beverage operations to ensure exceptional service, strong member and guest satisfaction, and consistent execution of Club standards. This is a hands-on leadership role focused on service delivery, staff supervision, and daily operational excellence.
Key Responsibilities- Oversee daily front-of-house food and beverage operations, including dining, bar, and banquet service.
- Maintain high standards for service, cleanliness, and professionalism to ensure an outstanding member and guest experience.
- Supervise, train, coach, and support food and beverage service staff.
- Assist with recruiting, hiring, onboarding, and scheduling of front-of-house employees.
- Manage staff schedules and labor hours in coordination with the Food & Beverage Director to meet operational and budgetary goals.
- Conduct daily line-ups and assist with service meetings and training sessions.
- Ensure staff knowledge of menus, specials, events, and service expectations.
- Support service recovery efforts and ensure guest concerns are addressed promptly and professionally.
- Ensure accurate timekeeping and compliance with Club policies and procedures.
- Maintain confidentiality of member and employee information.
- Perform additional duties as needed to support overall food and beverage operations.
- Minimum of 2 years of food and beverage management or supervisory experience, preferably in a club or hospitality environment.
- Food Handler’s, Alcohol Safety, and CPR certifications preferred.
- Strong leadership, communication, and organizational skills.
- Computer literacy required; POS and spreadsheet experience preferred.
- Ability to work flexible hours, including evenings, weekends, and holidays.
