This is a Department of Nursing Service position that delivers patient care as a Registered Nurse. Core duties include:

• Coordinate the delivery of patient care on the unit and complete required documentation.
• Participate in patient/family teaching and discharge planning, utilizing the Nursing Process.
• Provide leadership by working cooperatively with physicians, ancillary staff, and other personnel to maintain professional nursing standards in a multidisciplinary setting.
• Provide the basic leadership expected of a Registered Nurse for subordinate staff on the unit.
• Maintain quality delivery of patient care by completing assignments in compliance with the Nursing Process, the Arizona Nurse Practice Act, The Joint Commission, state regulations, and hospital policies and procedures.
• Strive to deliver high-quality care and promote the hospital s Standards of Behavior.

• Associate s Degree in Nursing.
• Minimum of 1 year of ICU experience strongly preferred.
• Valid Arizona or Compact States nursing license.
• Hemodynamic Monitoring, EKG preferred; moderate and deep sedation required within 30 days of hire.
• ACLS required upon hire for ICU.
