Hospitalist - Pediatrics, Pediatrics

This vital role offers the opportunity to deliver exceptional pediatric care across inpatient and outpatient settings, utilizing a collaborative team to ensure the best outcomes for our young patients. Required Skills:
- Physician or Nurse Practitioner with active Pediatric or Family Medicine license
- Proven experience in pediatric inpatient and outpatient care
- Strong clinical assessment and decision-making skills
- Excellent communication and interpersonal abilities
- Ability to work effectively within a multidisciplinary team
- Proficiency in documentation and electronic health records
Skills:
- Experience with CLIA-waived testing
- Knowledge of pediatric emergency or critical care
- Bilingual capabilities in Spanish or other languages
- Experience working in community or rural healthcare settings
Education and Experience:
- Medical Degree (MD or DO) or Nurse Practitioner certification in Pediatrics
- Minimum of 3 years of pediatric clinical experience in a hospital or clinic setting
- Current Basic Life Support (BLS) and Pediatric Advanced Life Support (PALS) certifications
- Ability to provide call coverage approximately 10 days per month, including weekends
- Flexibility to work a fixed schedule from Monday to Friday, with early mornings and afternoons
- Documentation of all overtime and callback hours
- Must pass background and credentialing checks
- Willingness to work in a fast-paced clinical environment and coordinate with a local healthcare team
Hourly Pay Rate: $1.00
