Travel RN - Med​/Surg

American Traveler is seeking an experienced RN for a Med/Surg day shift position in Wisconsin, requiring an active WI or compact RN license and BLS certification.

Job Details

• Work in a hospital medical/surgical unit,

• Care for adult med/surg patients,

• Day shifts from 6:30 AM to 7:00 PM,

• 12-hour shifts with every other weekend and holiday required,

• Assignment is 13 weeks in length,

• Potential floating to other units as needed,

Job Requirements

• Active WI or compact RN license,

• Current Basic Life Support (BLS/BCLS) certification,

• Advanced Cardiovascular Life Support (ACLS) and Pediatric Advanced Life Support (PALS) certifications required,

• Current influenza vaccination required,

• Prior med/surg nursing experience required,

Additional Information

• Provide direct patient care and administer prescribed medications and treatments according to hospital policy,

• Collaborate with interdisciplinary teams to develop individualized care plans,

• Participate in performance improvement activities and shared governance,

• Apply critical thinking and escalate patient safety concerns through the appropriate channels,

• Responsible for documentation per standards of care,
