As a Banquet Set-up Supervisor for the Banquets Department at the Grand Geneva Resort & Spa, you will supervise and assist in ensuring the appropriate set-up of banquet rooms according to guest specifications and Marcus’ standards of quality.

• Develop and implement sustainable training and development programs in order to ensure efficient, competent, and professional service delivery
• Assist and supervise banquet set-up staff and ensure all tasks are completed
• Inspect storage facilities
• Develop working relationships with vendors and suppliers who provide services to groups and associations
• Complete visual inspection and maintenance of banquet and meeting space and check the condition of equipment
• Install phone lines in meeting rooms
• Maintain condition and cleanliness of work area
• Perform other duties as assigned

• High school diploma or equivalent required
• Prior supervisory experience is preferred
• Ability to comprehend and communicate in English in order to provide service as requested by managers, staff, and guests
• Passionate about hospitality and customer service driven
