** Join Our Team as a Nuclear Medicine Technologist!** - Are you ready to take your career to the next level? - We are seeking a passionate Nuclear Med Tech for a full-time position with daytime hours!- Work Schedule:
Monday-Friday, 6:30 am - 3:00 pm in Lake Geneva, WI - Enjoy a rotating call every 3rd weekend in Janesville, WI on Saturday from 7:00 am - 12:00 pm.
** What You'll Do:** - Perform Nuclear Medicine procedures and related techniques to produce diagnostic images for physician interpretation.
- Prepare patients for procedures, ensuring they meet all necessary requirements.
- Provide clear instructions to gain cooperation and minimize anxiety.
- Apply principles of Nuclear Medicine safety to protect patients, yourself, and others.
- Operate nuclear medicine equipment to achieve accurate results.
- Position patients and equipment optimally while respecting patient comfort and safety.
- Select appropriate data acquisition parameters, considering established protocols.
- Perform venipuncture, start and maintain venous access, and administer radioactive isotopes safely.
- Assist with medical record/image sharing as needed.
- Evaluate images and data for technical quality.
- Report and document safety incidents/adverse events per protocol.
- Manipulate and process digital data for display, ensuring proper identification.
- Utilize radiology information systems (including PACS) for records and reports.
- Document all pertinent information in electronic medical records, including medication reconciliation.
- Ensure patients receive proper discharge information regarding their exam.
- Order radiopharmaceuticals through vendor-specific protocols.
- Assist PET services as needed.

* Minimum Qualifications:
** - Graduate of an accredited nuclear medicine program.
- Hold CNMT or ARRT(N) certification.
- AHA BLS certification required.
- Less than 1 year of experience is acceptable.
