Overview

Full or part-time position available for Wisconsin licensed Doctor of Audiology to work in collaboration with busy ENT practice at Mercyhealth Hospital and Medical Center - Walworth in beautiful Lake Geneva, Wisconsin.

The successful candidate will enjoy the autonomy of an independent practice while providing exceptional audio logic care to a diverse patient population, focusing on both diagnostic evaluations and hearing aid fitting and management. Responsibilities
  • Conduct comprehensive diagnostic hearing assessments.
  • Conduct hearing and balance evaluations for patients of all ages according to established standards.
  • Evaluate, repair, and perform fittings on hearing aids.
  • Perform VNG Testing.
  • Perform Cochlear Implant candidacy evaluations, activations, and re‑mapping.
  • Conduct follow‑up evaluations for patients.
  • Perform canalith repositioning maneuvers.
  • Dispense FM assistive listening systems and other assistive devices.
  • Provide community service talks throughout the area and the Mercy Health System.
Education and Experience

Doctoral Degree in Audiology.

Certification and Licensure

Licensure as an audiologist. Completion of CEUs for state licensure.

Additional Requirements
  • Passing the WI Caregiver Background Check and/or IL Health Care Workers Background Check.
  • Must be able to follow written/oral instructions.

The noise level in the work environment is usually moderate.

Special Physical Demands

The Special Physical Demands are considered Essential Job Functions of the position with or without reasonable accommodations. While performing the duties of this job, the employee is frequently required to stand and sit. The employee is occasionally required to reach with hands and arms and stoop, kneel, crouch, or crawl. The employee is required to exert up to 20 pounds of force occasionally.

Supervises

Directly supervises audiology staff at Mercy Clinics as well as audiology services at Mercy Hospital and other outlying clinics. Supervises Clinical Fellowship Year audiologists.
