Salary range: $34.50 – $55.20 per hour. Sign‑on bonus: $10,000. Tuition reimbursement, student‑loan repayment, professional development funds and a flexible work schedule are also available.

• Perform comprehensive assessments on all assigned patients, documenting measurable goals.
• Communicate changes in patient condition promptly and adjust care plans as necessary.
• Collaborate with patient, family, and health‑care team for care planning, discharge planning, and appropriate referrals, including palliative care.
• Provide patient and family education, using teach‑back methodology and documenting education records.
• Support ethical standards of practice, calling for ethics consults when appropriate.
• Implement evidence‑based nursing interventions and participate in clinical improvement projects.
• Ensure safe medication administration via bar coding and promote a safe environment, meeting quality metrics.
• Lead or support unit initiatives, serve as preceptor and mentor for new staff or students.
• Maintain proper resource utilization, optimize unit supplies, and reduce unnecessary overtime.
• Utilize technology for documentation, bed management, monitoring, and electronic record optimization.
• Attend internal professional development offerings, obtain specialty certifications, and participate in professional organizations.

• Bachelor of Science in Nursing (BSN)
• Current State of Illinois Registered Professional Nurse license
• Basic Life Support certification

• National certification in specialty area
• Strong interpersonal and analytic skills
• Associate Degree Nursing (ADN) acceptable with commitment to obtain BSN within three years
