Compensation

The anticipated base pay compensation range for this position is $95,000.00 to $.

Warehouse Management Systems (WMS) Team

The WMS team supports the technology that powers Grainger’s distribution centers and branch network for North America. We ensure the right products move efficiently through our supply chain to meet customer needs. In this fast‑paced and complex environment, our team builds and supports the systems that drive inventory movement, order fulfillment, warehouse automation, and network efficiency. We work closely with operations to deliver scalable, resilient solutions that enable growth and continuous improvement.

Role Overview

We are seeking a Senior Business Systems Engineer with an Application Engineer Dev Ops focus to join our WMS engineering team. This role will lead the implementation, optimization, and support of systems that enable seamless parcel and freight shipping integration using Connect Ship and Fed Ex Ship Manager Server, tightly coupled with SAP EWM (both on‑premise and S/4

HANA cloud deployments) and Manhattan platforms. This position plays a key role in driving automation, reliability, and scalability of complex distribution operations across our supply chain ecosystem. You’ll be a hands‑on contributor responsible for Dev Ops practices, configuration, coding, and operational support, ensuring critical integrations run securely, efficiently, and in compliance with business SLAs.
