Channel Metadata Analyst
Location: Mettawa, Illinois
Job Type: Contract
Compensation Range: $55 - 65 per hour
This role is a critical operational position within our client’s Digital Lab, a specialized unit in the biopharmaceutical sector. You will serve as the gatekeeper of data integrity for the digital ecosystem, ensuring that every digital interaction—from Email Rental programs to Preference Center workflows—is meticulously tagged, tracked, and optimized for maximum performance. In this role you aren’t just managing data; you are ensuring the accuracy of insights that drive business decisions, overseeing day‑to‑day management and optimization of marketing metadata, and acting as a technical consultant to ensure operational programs run seamlessly.
Responsibilities- Lead daily operations for metadata tagging and dashboard management across complex brand programs, ensuring 100% accuracy and on‑time execution.
- Utilize Salesforce (CPMT) for metadata activities and perform data querying, analysis, and process automation using SQL.
- Design and maintain sophisticated operational reports and dashboards using Smartsheet, Workfront, and Power
BI. - Partner with internal stakeholders and agencies to align processes, uphold data standards, and onboard teams on new workflows.
- Develop and maintain operational documentation (playbooks, RACIs, and guides) while driving automation to increase team efficiency.
- Oversee and support the technical operations for Email Rental and Preference Center management.
- Proactively troubleshoot data issues, identify root causes, and implement corrective actions with technical partners.
- Education:
Bachelor’s Degree in Business, Marketing, Information Systems, or equivalent professional experience. - Hands‑on experience with Smartsheet, Power
BI, and Salesforce. - Proficiency in SQL (Snowflake) and Marketo is a strong plus.
- Mastery of Microsoft Office (Excel, PowerPoint, Word).
- Proven background in digital marketing operations, database/content management, or technical project management.
- Experience documenting user stories, process flows, and operational frameworks.
- Exceptional communication skills with the ability to bridge the gap between business and technical teams.
- Ability to operate independently and manage multiple high‑priority projects in a fast‑paced environment.
- A solution‑oriented mindset with an enthusiasm for tackling new digital challenges.
