The Senior Product Coordinator works with Product Owners and operational leaders to formalize and manage discovery opportunities culminating in a cost benefit analysis and recommendation for investment. Partners with Architecture, IT and other Shared Services to recommend a viable solution that meets the business needs, budget, and architectural standards. Oversees all aspects of delivery within a durable, enhancement, or project team including requirements, development, QA, training, and communication.

Displays technical, business, and financial acumen in order to efficiently plan and sequence stories amongst multiple teams, software, or hardware competencies for efficient delivery to market. Serves as mentor to develop and grow subject matter experts, Product Coordinators and similar business roles.

KEY

ACCOUNTABILITIES Strategic Initiatives/Discovery
  • Work closely with customers, analytics, and business leaders to identify and maximize opportunities to use technology for improved business outcomes and competitively enhance product capabilities
  • Identify opportunities and define, establish, and manage a co-configuration model for vended solutions
  • Participates, contributes, and/or coordinates discovery on strategic initiatives in order to position for execution.
  • Partner with Edge, Shared Services, IT, Business, Finance, and Architecture to find innovative solutions to business needs and requirements.
  • Prepare business cases and cost benefit analysis to advise on future investments, including financial analyses of potential new technologies/systems/applications, viability, priority, and benefits. Evaluates based on company strategic needs and resource availability.
Product Analysis, Coordination, and Implementation
  • Work with Product Owner to scope and plan changes.
  • Oversee business analysis, development, and quality assurance of enhancements / new product delivery.
  • Partner with VB Product Manager in overseeing the launch/rollout and implementation of new products and/or enhancements to market:
    • Facilitate requirements gathering and user story grooming including wire frame creation, data mapping, and functional/non-functional requirements.
    • Partner with Architecture/IT/Vendors for solution ideation, alternative options, and estimation (including aggregation to ensure to rationalize team size and roles).
    • Agile team management including budget (Microsoft Project Server), sprint planning, work sequencing, translating stories into a sprint schedule, coordination between teams, and M  Reporting.
    • Thoughtfully and logically sequence work/stories to drive efficiency in delivery.
    • Escalate risks and issues related to scope, schedule, or budget while providing recommendation for path forward.
    • Creation and Execution of training, communication, and change sponsorship either independently or in partnership with Business Optimization for a product delivery.
    • Ongoing support model to stabilize and mature products.
  • Partner with COE/Resource Management/Vendors to ensure the right resources are available, assigned, and driving results within the durable teams, business driven initiatives, and VB portfolio.

  • Provide constructive performance feedback and recognition to Product Coordinator.

  • As a member of the TMK VB Operations leadership team, participate in broader strategic planning, budget planning/forecasting, and capacity planning.
  • Keep abreast of the industry, emerging technologies, and service delivery trends; share perspective with Trustmark team members.

EDUCATION AND EXPERIENCE
  • Bachelor’s degree and 8-10 years of related experience.
  • Strong business/product analyst and project management background.
