SR. QA ENGINEER

Overview:

We're looking for a methodical and systems-minded QA Engineer to validate and monitor the complex workflows that power our financial operations at Freedom Boat Club. This role focuses on integration testing, data validation, and system behavior, ensuring that our finance stack (Oracle Fusion, Salesforce, AEM, , and more) works seamlessly. You'll collaborate closely with the other developers on the team, finance partners, and product leads to ensure data integrity, system reliability, and confidence in every release.

Responsibilities:

• Design and execute manual and automated test cases for integrations and financial workflows
• Validate end-to-end data flows across systems such as Oracle Fusion Financials, OIC (Oracle Integration Cloud), Sales Force or AEM, and  is a plus
• Test APIs directly using tools like Postman, and verify integration payloads, error responses, and downstream effects
• Collaborate with developers to log, reproduce, and resolve defects efficiently
• Support regression testing, UAT, and production rollout readiness
• Help define QA standards, data validation strategies, and lightweight automation approaches as needed
• Document test cases, test results, and observed system behavior for traceability and reproducibility

Required Skills and Experience:

• 2-4+ years of experience in QA roles, ideally focused on enterprise integrations or finance systems
• Strong working knowledge of API testing tools (e.g., Postman, Swagger)
• Proficient in SQL. Comfortable querying databases to trace and validate records
• Understanding of QA best practices, software testing life cycles, and defect management
• Ability to break down complex workflows into testable components
• Strong communication and collaboration skills. Comfortable working with both engineers and non-technical stakeholders

Preferred Qualifications:

• Experience testing workflows within Oracle Fusion Financials, and Salesforce or AEM
• Familiarity with CI/CD pipelines and testing in Agile environments
• Exposure to test automation tools (e.g., Selenium, Playwright, Cypress), even if automation is not the focus
• Basic understanding of OAuth, RESTful APIs, and cloud platforms
