Data Engineer III – Remote
Grainger Corporate Services LLC is seeking a Data Engineer III in Lake Forest, IL (Remote) with the following requirements:
Education and ExperienceBachelor’s degree in Information Technology, or related field plus 3 years of related experience.
Responsibilities- Created and managed scalable ETL pipelines for analytics dashboards, visualization, machine learning, abstractions, infrastructure.
- Work with AWS services implementation; create and maintain optimal data pipeline architecture.
- Assemble large, complex data sets that meet functional and non-functional requirements.
- Build the infrastructure required for optimal extraction, transformation and loading of data from wide variety of data sources using Kafka and Spark big data technologies.
- Create data tools for analytics and data scientists that assist them in building and optimizing product into innovative industry leader.
Up to 25% domestic travel required to conferences and team meetings.
CompensationThe anticipated base pay range for this position is $130,707 to $156,400, which reflects the potential base pay at the time of this posting. Base pay will depend on factors such as work location, relevant experience, and skills. Grainger reserves the right to amend, modify, or terminate compensation and benefit programs in its sole discretion at any time, consistent with applicable law.
