Title: Data Analyst I
Location: Lake Forest, Illinois
Duration: 9 Month
Position Overview:
We are seeking a Data Analyst to support Abbott Core Diagnostics with a focus on tariff impact analysis. In this role, you will collaborate closely with the Sr. Manager of Tariffs and Network Strategies to enhance and standardize tariff-related data, develop daily and monthly reporting, and drive actionable insights. You will play a key role in error identification, process standardization, and automation initiatives that improve data accuracy and efficiency.
Responsibilities- Develop and maintain analytical models to assess tariff impact across the division.
- Build and automate daily and monthly reports to provide timely insights to stakeholders.
- Standardize tariff data and ensure consistency across systems and processes.
- Identify and resolve data errors; implement quality checks and validation processes.
- Drive automation and process improvements to reduce manual effort and increase efficiency.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to align reporting with business needs.
- Microsoft Excel (Intermediate to Advanced), including macros.
- Power BI:
Dashboard and report development using local files, SharePoint, and database sources. - Proficiency in Microsoft Office 365 applications.
- Education:
Bachelor’s degree in business, Data Science, Business Intelligence, Information Systems, or a related field. - Experience:
2–3 years in data analysis or a similar role. - Strong analytical, problem-solving, and critical-thinking skills.
- Excellent oral and written communication skills; ability to present complex data clearly.
