Role Summary

Develop, maintain, and monitor activity‑specific KPIs to evaluate key Medical Affairs activities, measure impact, and provide data‑driven transparency on resource allocation.

Role Responsibilities
  • Support KPI and analysis definition
    • Collaborate with Medical Impact and Outcomes team lead to ensure KPIs can be efficiently computed.
    • Support Medical Impact and Outcomes team lead for analyses strategic planning and insights communication.
  • Planning and conduct analytics
    • Develop and calculate metrics to evaluate Medical Affairs activities, impact, and resource allocation.
    • Analyze KPIs and data points to identify trends, patterns, and insights that can drive business outcomes.
    • Develop cascade of performance metrics that link assessment of individual and Category / Affiliate performance to overall Medical goals.
    • Support development of systems to monitor metrics and proactively identify underperformance or changes in particular areas of Medical Affairs activity.
    • Source and pull data from various systems and databases to populate the dashboards with accurate and up-to-date information.
    • Maintain tools and models according to best practices.
  • Data management
    • Gather, prepare, and maintain datasets required to perform analytics.
    • Oversee data systems holding in close collaboration with data management lead and ensure appropriate collection, storage, and processing of data within team.
    • Collaborate with Medical Affairs teams to support the efficient and timely reporting of data in appropriate formats and to eliminate roadblocks with leadership as necessary.
  • Collaborate with broader stakeholders
    • Collaborate with UI experts to ensure data analyses can be easily visualized in dashboards.
    • Regularly collect user feedback to update existing metrics and improve future analyses.
    • Provide ongoing support to resolve technical or data‑related issues and answer questions from stakeholders.
Basic Qualifications
  • Advanced degree in life sciences, data analytics or a related field.
  • Bachelor’s degree with 6+ years experience or Master’s/MBA with 5+ years experience.
  • Demonstrated effectiveness working in a cross‑functional business environment.
  • Proven leadership skills in managing people and projects both directly and via a matrixed or indirect leadership structure.
  • Strong interpersonal skills to quickly build rapport and credibility with Pfizer leaders and key external stakeholders.
  • Ability to partner cross culturally/regionally.
  • Effective English verbal and written communication with flexibility to be clear, consistent, compliant, and appropriate for a variety of settings.
  • In‑depth understanding of the business of pharmaceutical medicine including clinical trial design, GCP, drug development, regulatory and promotional rules/guidance, legal and compliance, issue management and business development opportunity evaluations.
  • Broad leadership experience and capabilities, including influencing and collaborating with peers, developing and coaching others, and guiding colleagues to achieve meaningful outcomes and business impact.
