Hospital-based role within Northwestern Medicine Lake Forest Hospital expansion context. The integrated practice model includes both office- and hospital-based OB/GYN physician services with 24-hour in-house coverage for obstetrics and inpatient/emergent gynecology patients. This model promotes patient safety, work-life balance, and physician satisfaction.
The position is a hospital-based role. Office-based services cover wellness, prenatal obstetrics, complex conditions, and elective surgical needs. The model supports 24-hour in-house physician coverage for obstetrics and inpatient/emergent gynecology.
The Ideal CandidateThe ideal candidate will possess a strong commitment to community-focused clinical excellence and patient experience. This is a full-time clinical FTE with a competitive compensation package and excellent benefits.
NM Lake Forest Hospital ExpansionNorthwestern Medicine is nearing completion of a campus development project at Northwestern Medicine Lake Forest Hospital to better serve patients and the community. The expansion supports increased patient care services and expanded access to care.
The Project Will- Increase the total number of hospital beds to 210, including 168 inpatient beds, 24 ICU beds and 18 postpartum beds
- Relocate and expand the Emergency Department with more diagnostic imaging equipment capabilities
- Improve access to care
- Continue to grow specialty care services
