- Oversee daily accounting operations, including Accounts Payable, Accounts Receivable, payroll, and general ledger accuracy.
- Process and review bi-weekly payroll, adjustments, and departmental transfers in compliance with company policies and labor laws.
- Manage invoice review, coding, and payment processing while resolving vendor discrepancies.
- Lead month-end close activities, including journal entries, reconciliations, and departmental expense reviews.
- Review daily audits and prepare timely weekly and monthly financial reports for Corporate.
- Maintain cash controls, including deposits, house banks, safes, and the property checkbook.
- Ensure compliance with internal controls, audits, permits, licenses, and regulatory requirements.
- Partner with hotel leadership, Corporate Finance, and HR to support operational and financial objectives.
- A strong foundation in hotel or hospitality accounting with a commitment to accuracy, compliance, and operational excellence.
- Proven experience managing payroll, accounts payable/receivable, reconciliations, and financial reporting.
- Strong organizational skills with exceptional attention to detail and follow-through.
- Ability to analyze financial data, identify discrepancies, and recommend solutions.
Excellent written and verbal communication skills with the ability to work cross-functionally. - Proficiency in Microsoft Excel, Word, and Windows-based applications; experience with hospitality accounting and payroll systems preferred.
- Minimum of two (2) years of accounting, payroll, or financial administration experience; hospitality experience strongly preferred.
- Associate’s or Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, Human Resources, or a related field preferred (or equivalent experience).
