Florist Marketplace is a community‑focused floral shop where creativity blooms. We pride ourselves on creating beautiful arrangements and providing a warm, welcoming experience for every customer who walks through our door.

• Greet customers warmly and assist with in‑store purchases.
• Answer phone calls, take orders, and provide basic product information.
• Operate the point‑of‑sale system and handle transactions.
• Help maintain a clean, organized, and inviting retail shop floor.

Production & Support (Approx. 50%):

• Process incoming flowers: unboxing, stripping leaves, cutting stems, and hydrating in buckets.
• Clean and wash floral buckets, vases, and work areas.
• Assist lead florists with basic prep work for arrangements (e.g., gathering materials, simple greenery).
• Help with packaging and preparing orders for pickup/delivery.
• Monitor basic inventory of retail and floral supplies.

• No prior floral experience is necessary—we provide training!
• Must have excellent customer service skills and a friendly, patient demeanor.
• Reliable, detail‑oriented, and able to follow instructions carefully.
• Ability to handle multiple tasks in a sometimes fast‑paced environment.
• Comfortable with standing for extended periods and light lifting (up to 25 lbs).
• Must have a flexible schedule with availability to work weekends (especially Saturdays) and some holidays.
• High school diploma or equivalent.

• Part‑Time:
  Approximately 20‑25 hours per week. Core schedule will include Saturdays and 2‑3 weekdays (shifts typically 9:30 AM – 5:00 PM or similar).
• Pay: $16.50 – $18.50 per hour (starting rate based on relevant experience) + tips shared.
