Assistant Team Leader – Loop Neighborhood Market

Loop Neighborhood Market, based in Union City, Calif., operates gas stations and convenience stores across California.

The Assistant Team Leader supports the store manager in daily operations, including inventory, customer service, and staff management. You will receive on‑the‑job training covering the store’s retail system, inventory technology, and car wash operations.

• Train and coach new store staff
• Create staff schedules using the time‑keeping system
• Stock shelves and maintain a clean, professional store appearance
• Forecast inventory needs, place orders, and merchandise products
• Reconcile daily store paperwork promptly
• Deliver courteous and efficient customer service to customers, vendors, and staff
• Maintain a clean, customer‑friendly environment inside the store and surrounding property
• Assist with overall store staff management
• Troubleshoot and resolve car wash issues
• Address gas station issues such as drive‑off problems and pump outages
• Perform additional duties as assigned

• High school diploma or equivalent
• 6–9 months experience as an assistant manager, or an equivalent combination of education and experience
• Strong math, written, and oral communication skills
• Desire to be part of a performance‑driven team
• Reliable transportation to and from the workplace

Constant standing, bending, and reaching; frequent lifting of 1–5 lb, occasional lifting up to 40–50 lb.

• 6 mo–3 yr: 0.10 ¢ off per gallon of fuel
• 3–5 yr: 0.30 ¢ off per gallon of fuel
• 5+ yr: 0.40 ¢ off per gallon of fuel
• Maximum 20 gal and 2 fill‑ups per week

• Minimum age: 18 years
• Must be able to work various shifts and days of the week as needed
