Overview

Sales Associate

Trend Notes is an Irvine-based fashion wholesaler specializing in trendy womenswear, accessories, and children’s clothing since 2010. We set ourselves apart as a competitive buying source with close relationships with more than 100 vendors in the LA Fashion District. Our fashion forecasters know what’s coming down the catwalk before it hits the racks, and we pass the fashion onto our customers through a distribution channel that reaches over 34,000 retail customers.

A subscription to Trend Notes opens access to regional trend readings that reveal what’s hot in your area. We offer wholesalers bi-weekly updates detailing bestselling merchandise, color palettes, and styles relevant to their location. Our core business goals are quality control, inventory management, and customer service.

Responsibilities
  • Inbound Customer Service:
    Handle order inquiries, returns, complaints, and refunds promptly and professionally.
  • Outbound Customer Service:
    Utilize purchasing history to recommend complementary items, fostering cross-selling and upselling opportunities.
  • Review Management:
    Following successful customer service interactions, request 5-star reviews to enhance our brand reputation.
  • Online Sales Channel Management:
    Optimize item listings across various online sales channels to maximize visibility and sales performance.
  • Collaborate with the accounting, inventory management, and sales teams to ensure seamless operations and customer satisfaction.
  • Actively participate in ongoing training and development sessions to enhance product knowledge and sales techniques.
  • Contribute to team goals and initiatives, sharing insights and suggestions for process improvements.
What we are seeking
  • Excellent communication skills, both verbal and written.
  • Strong interpersonal skills with a customer-centric approach.
  • Ability to multitask and prioritize tasks effectively.
  • Attention to detail and accuracy in order processing and record-keeping.
  • Previous experience in retail, customer service, or sales is a plus but not required.
  • Able to work in a fast paced environment and work well under pressure.
  • We are looking for a committed individual who is responsible, takes initiative, and has a positive attitude.
  • Attention to detail, ability to follow directions, time management, strong communication, and ability to work as a team.
Requirements
  • Bi-lingual in English and Korean
  • High School education or equivalent
  • Good communication skills
