Guest Advocate (Cashier or Front of Store Attendant/Cart Attendant) (T0913) rting Hourly Rate / Salario por Hora Inicial: $18.25 USD per hour.

• Demonstrate a service culture that prioritizes the guest experience by delivering the service standard.
• Create a welcoming experience by greeting guests while completing daily tasks.
• Engage with guests to help solve their specific needs when assistance is requested.
• Inform guests about current promotions, store activities, and events.
• Know the tools, products, and services available in the total store to resolve issues and improve guest experience.
• Thank guests and express appreciation for their visit to Target.
• Explain the benefits of Target Loyalty programs and assist with application or sign-up as needed.
• Scan and bag items efficiently, accurately, and in compliance with safety standards and company best practices.
• Work efficiently to minimize guest wait time while maintaining service quality and accuracy.
• Explain features and offerings within the Target App, including Wallet; understand Order Pick-Up, Drive Up, and online ordering.
• Assist with returns following established policies and procedures, escalating to Leaders as needed.
• Maintain a clean, clutter-free work area and manage stock as needed during store hours.
• Support guest services such as order pick up, Drive-up orders, and related returns while complying with applicable laws and policies.
• Adhere to safety, ethical conduct, and compliance standards.
• Perform other duties as assigned based on business needs.

• Accurately handle checkout operations, transactions, and support cash office operations as needed.
• Scan, handle, and move merchandise safely; frequently lift or move up to 10 pounds and occasionally up to 44 pounds without assistance.
• Flexible work schedule (nights, weekends, holidays); reliable attendance required.
• Ability to remain mobile during a scheduled shift.
• Work in varying temperatures and environments; exposure to conditions related to Drive-Up and carryout duties.
