Nestled within our life plan community, the Freedom Café caters to residents, family members, guests, and staff members of Freedom Village.

The Café Attendant will oversee and supervise the daily operations of the Freedom Café. This person will assist, lead, train, and supervise Café staff under direct supervision and assistance of the Sous Chef.

• Effectively communicates with management, customers, the team and other employees
• Supervises and participates in the preparation, cooking and serving of food and beverage items in the Café
• Assists team in organizing and cleaning the Café area and all equipment
• Ensures the Café area is presentable at all times
• Manages inventory
• Follows proper food storage regulations
• Plans and engages in employee appreciation events for the team
• Ensures proper handling of the cash register – confirms daily reports and charge slips are correct
• Provides a “WOW” customer experience for all customers of the Café

• 7:30am to 4:00pm
• Part time weekdays including Saturdays

Starting rate: up to $18.50 DOE

* Offer of employment is contingent upon successful fingerprint clearance through Department of Justice, background check, physical exam, TB, drug screen. Covid-19 vaccination required.
