Qualifications

General job duties for all store team members:

  • Operate all equipment.
  • Stock ingredients from delivery area to storage, work area, walk‑in cooler.
  • Prepare product.
  • Receive and process telephone orders.
  • Take inventory and complete associated paperwork.
  • Clean equipment and facility approximately daily.
  • Training, orientation, and training provided on the job.
  • Communication skills – understand and give written and verbal instructions.
  • Mathematical skills – add, subtract, multiply, divide accurately and quickly (calculator allowed).
  • Make correct monetary change.
  • Compare customer and co‑worker orders over phone and in person.
  • Motor coordination – rapid and accurate hand movements.
  • Enter orders using a computer keyboard or touch screen.
Work Conditions

Exposure to varying and sometimes adverse weather conditions when removing trash and performing other outside tasks.

In‑store temperatures range from 36°F in cooler to 90°F and above in some work areas. Sudden temperature changes may occur. Risk of fumes, cornmeal dust, cramped quarters, hot surfaces/tools up to 500°F or higher, sharp edges, and moving mechanical parts.

Sensing
  • Talking and hearing on telephone.
  • Near and mid‑range vision for most in‑store tasks.
  • Depth perception.
  • Ability to differentiate between hot and cold surfaces.
Temperaments

The ability to direct activities, perform repetitive tasks, work alone and with others, work under stress, meet strict quality control standards, deal with people, analyze and compile data, and make judgments and decisions.

Physical Requirements
  • Standing, walking short distances and durations.
  • Surfaces include ceramic tile/brick with linoleum; work surface height 36‑48″.
  • Sitting for paperwork at a desk or table.
  • Lifting bulk product deliveries (up to 50 pounds, up to 3 ft x 1.5 ft).
  • Stacking and carrying items up to 72‑inch shelves.
  • Carrying large cans (≈3 lb 7 oz) from workstation to storage.
  • Occasional heavy loads (pizza sauce up to 30 lb).
  • Pushing/pulling trays on dollies (24‑30″, up to 7.5 lb push force).
  • Climbing stairs or ladder for maintenance.
  • Stooping, bending, reaching, crouching, squatting as required for stocking, cleaning, and operating equipment.
  • Eye‑hand coordination, forearm and wrist use, grasping tools (pizza peel, cutter, boxes).
Additional Information – Driving Specific

Job Duties

Deliver product by car to customers, distribute flyers and door hangers. Requires a valid driver’s license with a safe driving record, access to an insured vehicle, and the ability to navigate maps, multi‑story buildings, and adverse terrain while carrying product.

Essential Skills
  • Reading maps and locating addresses within a designated delivery area.
  • Driving safely in varying weather and terrain conditions.
  • Walking and climbing (up to five flights of stairs) during deliveries.
