Campus Manager, Alpha

A well-managed campus operates invisibly. A poorly managed one affects everyone. This role ensures Alpha campuses function with consistency, safety, and confidence on a daily basis.

This demands campus operations that are disciplined, responsive, and designed for scalability. This role is accountable for all non-instructional functions that enable students and Guides to excel.

As the operational anchor of the campus, you will manage communication with parents and staff, supervise safety and security protocols, maintain facility and logistical operations, and ensure reliable technology access for students and staff. You respond when systems fail, identify issues before they grow, and establish structured calm during fluid situations.

This is not a limited coordinator position. It is a hands-on, high-visibility role designed for someone who excels with responsibility, diversity of tasks, and execution. • Serving as a key contact point for parents, students, and staff to deliver timely, clear, and professional communication
• Overseeing campus safety functions including access management, health events, emergency drills, record-keeping, and parent notifications
• Managing daily campus logistics including attendance systems, transportation coordination, facility oversight, and office functions
• Assisting with onboarding and orientation of new staff to guarantee operational preparedness from the first day
• Administering student devices and campus technology, acting as the on-site Google Administrator and technology point person

• Delivering classroom instruction or supporting academic teaching
• Mentoring Guides or influencing curriculum design
• Functioning in a strictly administrative or narrowly defined capacity
• Working within a slow-paced or entirely predictable setting
• Escalating unresolved issues to others rather than driving solutions

Sustain safe, efficient, and dependable campus operations that continuously enhance the experience of students, staff, and parents.

• Bachelor's degree (field of study not specified)
• A minimum of 1 year of experience in office coordination, facilities support, site operations, or comparable operational roles
• Proficiency with basic technology responsibilities including device configuration, troubleshooting, and account administration
• Effective written and verbal communication abilities with parents, staff, and vendors
• Capacity to handle competing priorities while preserving attention to detail
• Authorization to work in the United States without visa sponsorship
• Must be available to work in person in Piedmont, CA;
  Palo Alto, CA;
  Lake Forest, CA or Chicago, IL.

This is a full-time (40 hours per week), long-term position. The position is immediately available and requires entering into an independent contractor agreement with Crossover as a Contractor of Record. The compensation level for this role is $37 USD/hour, which equates to $75,000 USD/year assuming 40 hours per week and 50 weeks per year. The payment period is weekly.
