Immediate Opening – Medical / Legal Administrative Assistant
We are seeking a highly organized, detail-oriented Administrative Assistant to support our Personal Injury and Lien Services operations. The ideal candidate has experience working with medical providers, law firms, and case-related documentation, and understands the importance of accuracy, confidentiality, and timely follow-up in a lien-based environment.
Required Skills & Experience- Data entry experience with a typing speed of 50+ WPM
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office (Excel & Word)
- Strong written and verbal communication skills
- Ability to multitask and prioritize deadlines effectively
- Professional, reliable, and detail-oriented
This position provides administrative and operational support across departments while serving as a point of contact for clients and vendors.
Key Responsibilities- Answer and direct incoming calls; respond to client and patient inquiries professionally
- Process incoming medical and legal paperwork; scan, upload, and distribute documents electronically
- Process payments and maintain transaction records
- Maintain accurate physical and electronic records related to cases, patients, and billing
- Manage, monitor, and follow up on patient and/or client accounts
- Coordinate with internal departments
- Schedule meetings; maintain calendars
- Request, collect, and organize medical records and billing documentation
- Draft and distribute professional emails, correspondence, and internal memoranda
- Assist with developing, updating, and maintaining office procedures and compliance standards
- Previous experience in a medical, legal, or administrative office preferred
- Strong customer service and interpersonal skills
- Excellent organizational and time-management abilities
- Familiarity with medical records, legal documentation, or case management systems is a plus
- Proficiency with Microsoft Office and Adobe software
