Financial Statement Staff Auditor

Overview

Almich & Associates is seeking an experienced candidate to join its audit practice in our office located in Lake Forest, CA in a full-time Staff Auditor position. Staff Auditors work closely with our senior auditors, managers and partners in a team-oriented environment to learn the fundamentals of audit standards, completion of audit objectives and preparation of quality audit documentation, while gaining an understanding of our clients, the industries that they operate in, and the accounting/business matters associated with their companies.

The duties of a Staff Auditor include both independently preparing audit documentation under the supervision of senior firm members and directly assisting senior firm members with more complex accounting issues and auditing procedures.

An ideal candidate for this position would possess the skills necessary to succeed in a fast-paced, teamwork oriented environment.

Almich & Associates also requires that candidates for this position have earned a Bachelor’s degree in accounting (or a related field) and have met the eligibility requirements to sit for the CPA exam. Candidates also must be willing to travel over the course of the year, most occurring during the months from February through April.
