Great home care seeking RN/LPNs to work current open shifts for complex private duty nursing with client in Lake Elmo, MN (10 minutes east of St. Paul)

Client is 24 years old, is happy and very stable male. He is non-ambulatory and spends his awake time up driving in an electric wheelchair. He is capable of some self care. Client does activities in community such as nature walks (in wheelchair), walks with walker, movies, zoo, shopping, etc. Parents are proficient in all aspects of care. Preferred skills, but will train :
Trach, Trilogy ventilator, gtube (eats all food orally - just for hydration).

Shifts are flexible. Immediate openings. Full and Part-time shifts open listed below.

Covid
19: extremely low risk environment. All staff, client and parents are vaccinated. Normal precautions are taken when out in public according to mandates.

Available Shifts :
Mondays 7am to 4pm and 11pm to 7am
E/O Thursday 11pm to 7am - Every Thursday 11pm - 7am
Fridays 5:30pm to 7am
E/O Saturday 7am to 4pm, 4pm to 11pm and 11pm to to 7am Sundays 7am to 4pm, 4pm to 11pm and 11pm to 7am

In sum - every other weekend is open, Monday day and overnights, Every other Thursday evening and every Thursday overnight. Shifts are flexible and evening nurses usually take the overnight as well because he sleeps all noc. Shifts can be doubled split.

Casual shifts are available only if routinely on schedule

Requirements:

• RN/LPN license -- current and in good standing

• Pass MN DHS Background check with no violations

• Be CPR current

• Able to lift/transfer 65 lbs without restrictions

• Able to read, write and speak English

• Be able to hear

• Must be compassionate, committed, dependable, and a team player

Employees need reliable transportation to client's home in Lake Elmo, MN (equal distance off I-94 and hwy 36)
