Job Overview

Shift differentials of $1.00 evenings and $1.50 nights

The Licensed Practical Nurse (LPN) performs a variety of professional nursing duties in compliance with the Comprehensive Home Care/Nursing Home and Transitional Care unit regulations and follows established policies and procedures for our welcoming Skilled Nursing Facility (TCU/LTC) in Lake City, MN.

Nursing schedule includes:

• 48 hours every 2 weeks
• Night shift; 8 hour shift
• Every other weekend and holiday rotation
• Full Benefit package eligible

Lake City Care Center Careers (ebenezercares.org)

• Provides professional nursing care and treatments
• Monitors work and performance of unlicensed staff
• Maintains current observation and documentation of resident health status

• MN LPN licensure
• AHA BLS for Healthcare Providers or Red Cross CPR for Professional Rescuers. BLS is required upon hire and/or new hire must show proof that they are currently enrolled in a BLS class to renew or obtain their certification. BLS certification must be obtained within three-weeks of hire date and before nurse can perform independent practice
• 0-1 years of experience
• Ability to use technology in the form of computers, hand held devices, cell phones, and fax machines

• Vocational/Technical Training or Associate Degree
• 1-3 years of experience
• MS Office, Excel, and Word
• Point Click Care knowledge

The posted compensation range corresponds to the minimum and maximum pay rates outlined in your union agreement for the respective job classifications at the time of job posting. An individual's pay rate within this range may be influenced by various factors, including FTE, skills, knowledge, educational background, and qualifying experience as specified in the contract.
