• Conduct assigned work safely, following all safety, environmental and contamination control policies.
• Wear proper personal protective equipment.
• Attend and complete all required technician training classes.
• Maintain the necessary set of tools to diagnose, disassemble and assemble components to manufacturer’s specifications.
• Diagnose and perform repairs on customer or company owned equipment, including mechanical, electrical, hydraulic troubleshooting, maintenance and repairs.
• Work in a neat and orderly fashion, continually looking for improvements in work methods, area and safety standards.
• Inspect components to maximize parts reuse and control repair costs.
• Document repairs and repair times using appropriate software.
• Monitor job expenses against repair estimates, informing the supervisor of any cost overrun before job completion.
• Approach work positively, support the team, meet safety and quality expectations, and mentor others when appropriate.
• Assume a supervisory position temporarily as needed.
• Perform other duties as assigned.

• High School diploma or GED.
• 5–6 years of related experience.
• Completed all required training curriculum to be designated a Tech I.
• Ability to comprehend written material and communicate orally and in writing with employees and customers.

• Proficiency in computer use, Microsoft Office products and relevant dealer software.
• Successfully completed relevant specialized equipment technical courses.

• NA – not applicable.
• O – occasionally (up to 3 hours/day).
• F – frequently (3‑6 hours/day).
• C – constantly (6‑8 hours/day).
• Climbing, Balancing, Stooping, Kneeling, Crouching, Crawling, Reaching, Standing, Sitting, Walking, Feeling, Fingering, Grasping, Repetitive motion, Talking, Hearing, Pushing, Pulling, Lifting with specified weight ranges.

• Indoor conditions – protection from weather but not temperature changes.
• Outdoor conditions – no effective protection, extreme cold/heat, noise, vibration, hazards, atmospheric conditions, air particulates.
