Security Officer - Flex Gate Screening

Allied Universal -  - Responsibilities:
Provide customer service to visitors, staff, and contractors by following site-specific screening procedures, access control policies, and when appropriate, emergency response activities at a controlled-entry location;
Operate walk-through metal detectors, hand-held screening wands, and x-ray or parcel inspection equipment as assigned, checking for prohibited items and reporting findings per post orders;
Verify identification, visitor authorization, and appointment information; issue and/or collect badges and maintain required entry logs and documentation;
Respond to incidents and critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner, notifying site leadership and/or Allied Universal management as needed;
Conduct routine checks of screening areas and nearby entry points to help to deter unauthorized access, document unusual activity, and support orderly movement through checkpoints
