Emergency Medicine Locum Opportunity - Lake City, Florida Immediate Start 3-Month Assignment
Position Highlights:
We are currently seeking experienced and dedicated Emergency Medicine physicians for a rewarding locum opportunity in Lake City, Florida. This role offers the chance to work in a newly renovated emergency department within a well-established facility that serves a diverse patient population.
Start Date:
ASAPAssignment Length: 3 months
Providers must be open to working at freestanding emergency departments (FSEDs) affiliated with the main hospital
Annual ED volume: 60,000
Patient mix includes 17% admission rate, 15% pediatrics, and 9% critical care cases on average
22-bed emergency department, recently renovated for improved workflow and patient care
Physician Coverage: 44 hours daily (10- and 12-hour shifts)
Advanced Practice Provider (APP) Coverage: 62 hours daily
Independent Contractor Status
Competitive hourly compensation
Qualifications:
Board Certified or Board Eligible in Emergency Medicine
Board Certified in Family Medicine or Internal Medicine with strong Emergency Medicine experience also considered
EM Residency training is required
