Job . Preferred Materials – Asphalt Division, a part of CRH Southeast Division, leads in producing high‑quality hot‑mix and warm‑mix asphalt. The division delivers design‑build and conventional‑bid‑build roadway and civil construction solutions across Florida, headquartered in Tampa.
ResponsibilitiesThe Maintenance of Traffic (MOT) Supervisor coordinates traffic control activities in construction zones per the traffic control plan. Supervisors flag traffic and direct motorists, perform flagging, and may carry out additional traffic control duties. Daily tasks require bending, hammering, stooping, pushing, pulling, squatting, throwing, and lifting up to 25 lb. Workers use hand tools such as shovels, axes, brush hooks, grade rods, sledge hammers, picks, mattocks, and post‑hole diggers.
The role involves exposure to extreme temperatures, travel to job sites, and overtime as needed.
- State of Florida Advanced Training for Worksite Traffic Supervisor certification.
- 1–3 years of experience as a Maintenance of Traffic Supervisor or Foreman in highway construction.
