Position: Retail Assistant Store Manager - 2796

Overview

We are seeking an Assistant Store Manager with a minimum of six (6+) months of management/3rd key experience. The role involves day-to-day store operations, leading and developing store employees, recruiting, and driving customer satisfaction. This position collaborates with the Store Manager to meet financial goals and manage customer relations. Compensation includes an hourly wage plus potential commission; pay rate is stated as $14.00 to $17.00 per hour with a commission structure for transactions and performance-based bonuses.

Responsibilities
  • Facilitate a customer-centric environment by engaging customers professionally and addressing issues promptly.
  • Monitor and assist in training Pawnbrokers to meet First Cash standards.
  • Recruit top talent through company-prescribed channels.
  • Open and close the store, manage cash drawers and merchandise, and protect assets according to procedures.
  • Ensure asset protection through inventory control and safety procedures; manage loan documentation and processing.
  • Administer store processes including inventory, loan management, merchandising, store presentation, store systems, and reporting.
  • Analyze store financial statements and drive profitability through communication and goal setting.
  • Maintain operating standards to meet or exceed First Cash requirements.
  • Monitor loan qualification and buying processes to maintain value and integrity of loans.
  • Complete assigned tasks and training for self-development; communicate store mission and profit objectives to employees.
  • Stay up-to-date on product knowledge and act as manager on duty in the Store Manager’s absence.
  • Perform other related duties as assigned.
Minimum Requirements & Qualifications
  • Willing and able to perform duties for extended periods (standing, lifting up to 50 pounds, etc.) in accordance with law.
  • Demonstrated ability to supervise others.
  • Ability to work with firearms and become firearms certified.
  • Minimum age 18;
    High School Diploma, GED, or equivalent experience.
  • Ability to work in multiple locations and a flexible retail schedule including weekends and holidays.
  • Assistant Store Manager will work 40+ hours per week; hours are based on business needs.
  • Computer literacy; ability to operate POS systems and office machines.
  • Ability to multitask in a fast-paced environment; detail-oriented with strong organizational and analytical skills.
  • Cash handling experience; ability to work independently with minimal supervision.
  • Excellent work ethic and strong business sense.

Commission Plan

The employee commission incentive plan is proprietary to First Cash. Assistant Store Managers have the potential to earn 2–8% commission based on gross profit from personal performance. Details are provided during the interview process.
