Project OverviewLouisiana LNG is located approximately 11 miles southwest of Lake Charles, Louisiana. The project includes a mid-scale, mixed-refrigerant Liquefied Natural Gas (LNG) production and export facility on the west side of the Calcasieu River. There are five identical process plants. Each process plant consists of one gas pre-treatment unit, one condensate stabilization unit, and four Chart heavy hydrocarbon (HHC) removal and liquefaction groups.
The facility will include associated utilities, refrigerant storage, three 235,000m3 full-containment LNG storage tanks, and three marine berths.
In this role, you will serve as an advisor for industrial relations, providing high-level service to craft workforce. You will be responsible for ensuring that all work practices align with relevant laws and project-specific rules. Your focus will be resolving workplace grievances, conducting professional investigations, and ensuring all records are detailed and stored correctly. #LI-SM2
Major Responsibilities- Ensure all Industrial Relation activities conform to company policies and statutory requirements.
- Recommends and implements corrective actions to resolve employee relations issues.
- Undertake and support formal investigations into employee misconduct, harassment claims, or breaches of work rules, ensuring due process and thorough documentation.
- Act as a primary point of contact for the craft workforce regarding employment-related inquiries.
- Produce high-quality written communications, including investigation reports.
- If required, support the staffing and onboarding process.
- Requires bachelor's degree (or international equivalent) and 2-5 years of relevant experience or 6-9 years of relevant work experience
- Demonstrated ability to conduct neutral, thorough, and confidential investigations into sensitive workplace matters.
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
- Strong organizational skills with a proven ability to maintain the confidentiality of sensitive personnel information.
- Intermediate to advanced skill in Microsoft Office Suite; experience with SAP (HRIS) and Brass Ring (ATS) is highly advantageous.
- Bi-lingual capability is a significant plus
Work requires the physical ability to conduct field inspections including but not limited to: extensive walking in and around a construction site often in high heat and high humidity conditions, climbing ladders, climbing scaffolding, working on elevated platforms, working on uneven surfaces, and working in small or confined spaces. Some lifting may be required. Must have the ability to walk into and out of the project (enter/egress).
Must be able to use appropriate standard issued Personal Protection Equipment (PPE) required for each assigned task (i.e. harness, life vest, lift buckets, etc.).
